What is the difference between HDMI Type A, Type C and Type D connectors?
HDMI Type A is the standard full-size connector used in TVs, monitors and laptops. Type C (Mini HDMI) is a smaller form factor for cameras and portable devices. Type D (Micro HDMI) is the smallest size, commonly used in smartphones and tablets. All three types use the same 19 pin electrical specification.
What resolutions do your HDMI connectors support?
Our HDMI connectors support HDMI 2.1 specification, including 4K@120Hz, 8K@60Hz, and backward compatible with HDMI 2.0, 1.4 and 1.3 versions. They can transmit uncompressed digital audio and video signals up to 48 Gbps bandwidth.
What mounting styles are available for HDMI PCB connectors?
We offer a full range of mounting options: surface mount (SMT), through-hole (DIP), mid-mount (recessed), right-angle (90 degree) and vertical (180 degree). Custom mounting designs are also available for OEM projects.
Why are gold-plated contacts important for HDMI connectors?
Gold plating provides excellent corrosion resistance and low contact resistance, ensuring stable signal transmission over time. Our standard 15μ” gold plating guarantees 10,000+ mating cycles without signal degradation.
Are your HDMI connectors RoHS and REACH compliant?
Yes. All Vistar HDMI connectors are fully compliant with RoHS 3 (EU Directive 2015/863) and REACH SVHC regulations. We provide complete compliance documentation for all our products.
What is your MOQ and do you offer free samples?
Standard MOQ is 1,000 pieces per model. Free samples are available for qualified engineering and product development projects. Please contact sales@vistarelectronics.com with your project details to request samples.
